DIY Short Hair Bath

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand and agree that bathing or grooming my own dog, even in a professional facility, carries inherent risks including, but not limited to:

• Injury to myself or others caused by my pet’s behavior (e.g., biting, scratching, slipping)

• Injury to my pet due to water temperature, improper handling, or stress

• Malfunctions or issues with grooming equipment

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with using Backyard Pet Services equipment and facilities to bathe my dog.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Backyard Pet Services, its owners, employees, agents, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to:

• Injuries sustained by myself, my pet, or others while using the mobile facility

• Damage to my property or pet

• Any allergic or adverse reaction to soaps, shampoos, or equipment used

This release applies whether the incident occurs through negligence, accident, or any other cause.

3. Responsibility for Pet Behavior

I accept full responsibility for any injury or damage caused by my dog to any person, pet, or property while using Backyard Pet Services facility.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Backyard Pet Services from and against any and all claims, actions, damages, liabilities, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of my use of the facility and equipment or my pet’s behavior.

5. Use of Equipment and Facility

I agree to use the facility and all equipment in a safe and responsible manner. I will follow all posted guidelines and instructions provided by Backyard Pet Services staff. I agree to notify staff immediately of any damage to equipment or safety concerns.
